This research was undertaken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia due the predicted impact on Agile Development Group’s ongoing projects. Several of Agile’s projects have face-to-face training with women entrepreneurs with disabilities (WEDs) as these training typically require close human contact; it was deemed necessary to adapt these projects to the ongoing pandemic. No research was found that addressed the needs of this target group with the onset of the pandemic. As such it was deemed necessary to undertake a rapid assessment to gain a better understanding of:

  • The understanding of COVID-19 among this vulnerable target group
  • The impact of COVID-19 on WED’s businesses
  • What measures are needed to deliver training to WEDs in the coming months.
